    Description

    NOTE:
    You will receive a small bulk-pack bag of API FURAN 2 removed from a Large Bulk Tub(as shown in photos- product removed from actual tub shown). You will receive the equivalent of 10 "packets". The packets (when they were available) were 1/2 teaspoon(2.6 g) powder each. Each packet treated 10 gallons, so you will be receiving enough powder product to treat 100 gallons total (26 g total).
    You will receive bag as shown- no original packaging included.
    Simply follow the (Bulk) Directions of use for dosing quantity. Can be measured with common measuring spoon.

    API Furan-2 Bacterial Fish Medication contains two furan compounds to combat a wide variety of gram-positive & gram-negative bacterial fish diseases. It can be used in both freshwater and saltwater aquariums. This medication will not harm the biological filter. This medication will cause a slight discoloration of water which can be removed with activated carbon.
    Furan-2 can treat the following bactieral infections in fish:
    bacterial gill disease
    open red sores (Aeromonas spp.)
    body slime
    eye cloud
    black molly disease (Flavobacterium columnaris)
    fin & tail rot
    Hemorrhagic Septicemia
    Contains two furan compounds to combat a wide variety of gram-positive & gram-negative bacterial diseases, including bacterial gill disease, open red sores (Aeromonas spp.), body slime & eye cloud, black molly disease (Flavobacterium columnaris) and fin & tail rot. For use in both freshwater and saltwater aquariums. This medication will not harm the biological filter.     Directions for Use (Packets)
    (one(1)packet = 1/2 teaspoon of powder)
    : For best results, remove activated carbon or filter cartridge from filter and continue aerations. For each 10 gallons (38 L) of water, empty one packet
    (1/2 teaspoon)
    directly into aquarium. Repeat dose after 24 hours. Wait another 24 hours then change 25% of the aquarium water. Repeat this treatment for a second time, for a total of 4 doses. Then make a final 25% water change and add fresh activated carbon or replace filter cartridge. Treatment may be repeated if necessary.
    Directions for Use (Bulk): For best results, remove activated carbon or filter cartridge from filter and continue aeration. For each 20 gallons (75 L) of water add 1 scoop (1 teaspoon). For larger systems, for each 240 gallons (908 L) of water add 12 scoops (4 Tablespoons), or for each 960 gallons (3,634 L) of water add one cup. Repeat dose after 24 hours. Wait another 24 hours then change 25% of the aquarium water. repeat this treatment for a second time, for a total of 4 doses. Four doses are required for a full course of treatment. Then make a final 25% water change and add API BIO-CHEM ZORB, fresh activated carbon, or replace filter cartridge. This treatment may be repeated if necessary.
