A must for purification, smell eradication and clarification
by way of oxidation. The chemical in this product is used in
the treatment of potable water for humans and work equally as
well for fish. Oxidizes uneaten food. This product will color
the water slightly purple upon treatment, then brown as oxida-
tion of waste is completed and crystal clear on or about the
third day depending on the degree of pollution present in the
tank.
DOSE: Shake very well before using.
FRESHWATER
:
Add 1 tsp to each 20 NET gallons of aquarium water.
Repeat treatment in 5 days if necessary.
MARINE
: Add
2 drops to each NET gallon of aquarium water. Repeat
treatment daily until clarity occurs.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
AQUA BRITE
is an effective
chemical treatment that controls off-smelling aquarium
water * eliminates aquatic blooms * clarifies cloudy water *
corrects overfed systems.
DO NOT USE IN THE PRES-
SENCE OF INVERTEBRATRS AND AROWANAS.
FOR BEST RESULTS: Prevent cloudy and foul smelling
water by doing regular water changes using
SHIELDEX
and treat with
AB
at half strength every third week. Before
treatment do a partial water change, removing water from
bottom of the aquarium. Aerate the tank very well during
treatment. When AB is used the aquarium water will go
from purple to brown proving the elimination and oxidation
of particulate. This color will fade away in 24 - 48 hours.
Use a good grade of carbon such as
CARBON
-
IT
to speed
up removal of color. If cloudy water remains to be a problem
after two treatments, test the Ammonia level in the aquarium.
If Ammonia is found to be present use
AMOCHLOR
to eliminate this problem.
