Posi/Crosshead dzus are similar to the original Yamaha studs and have a 12.5mm diameter head, the Hex/Allen Key head dzus look more like regular fairing bolts and have an 11.8mm diameter head.

To replace the complete set you will need the following:
1998-2001 = 14
2002-2003 = 17
2004-2006 = 22
2007-2008 = 15
2009-2014 = 14
Replaces Yamaha part number 5PW-28386-00-00, 5PW-2177L-00-00, 2TK-21757-00-00
If bought from Yamaha, each stud will cost .99, each clip costs .99 and each washer .99!
Please note that older R1's can keep the original receptacle/clip but 2002 models onwards need to replace the clips for the ones supplied with this kit.
Also each dzus Stud comes with a Slide-on dzus clip/receptacle, black dzus retaining washers and nylon washers.
The fasteners are zinc plated with a chromate plus sealer to ensure they do not rust.
